She’s more than just a pretty actress, she’s a human rights force to be reckoned with!  And Ashley Judd was putting her money where her mouth is earlier today.

The “A Time To Kill” beauty was spotted at the United Nations in New York City for a press conference regarding the ending of human trafficking.  And she looked business-like-yet-cute in a pale green patterned dress with her hair pulled back.

Still recovering from an emergency medical procedure last week, Ashley Judd was spotted out on an evening stroll in Vancouver on Sunday.

The Kiss the Girls actress had an appendicitis attack while she was filming her new movie “Helen” last week - being taken to the hospital for surgery.

As mentioned earlier today by the Gossip Girls, Ashley Judd is taking a break from filming her new movie “Helen” in Canada for a little charity work.

The High Crimes actress, who flew out of Vancouver on Wednesday, sported a purple sari as she attended the YouthAIDS Benefit Gala on Friday at the Ritz Carlton in McLean, Virginia.

Ashley Judd is proving that she’s more than just a pretty face.  Besides being a prolific actress, on both the screen and stage, she’s making a difference as the “global ambassador” for YouthAIDS.

More than twelve million people under 25 years of age have HIV, with over half of all new infections occurring within the 15-24 year-old age bracket.  And Judd isn’t having it.

Hosted by basketballer LeBron James and comedian Jimmy Kimmel, the 2007 ESPY Awards saluted the year’s most impressive sports achievements.

And while the show focused on the sports world, there were plenty of celebrities on hand as both attendees and presenters.
