While the Berlinale Film Festival was drawing to a close this weekend, another cinema celebration was just getting underway - the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival.

The Irish capital ushered in the 2008 version of their annual festivities - drawing stars including the always-lovely Charlize Theron and bad-boy hunk Colin Farrell.

With the warm welcome Americans gave David and Victoria Beckham when they arrived in Los Angeles last summer, you gotta wonder if American celebrities get the same love over in Europe.  And based on Charlize Theron’s popularity at the RDS Simmonscourt yesterday, it seems the answer is ‘yes.’

The “Italian Job” actress and her longtime love Stuart Townsend descended on the 2008 Meteor Ireland Music Awards last night, looking very much in love.

Charlize Theron received the Hasty Pudding's Woman of the Year award yesterday at Harvard. Surrounded by drag queens and pumped full of hard cider, Charlize was asked which is better: Her Hasty Pudding pot or an Oscar? People reports:

"I know you want me to say that the Oscar sucks and this is better," she said. "There are no men in drag at the Oscars like there are here. I've never been surrounded by so many fake breasts."

Earlier in the day, she made it through a wild parade. And now, Charlize Theron has officially accepted her Hasty Pudding “Woman of the Year” award.

“I hope you all know I’m a high school dropout. I just thought I’d be clean with you guys,” Theron joked as she accepted her award, adding, “I went to school in Africa but I’m really, really honored to be here.”

Charlize Theron has made her way to Cambridge, Massachusetts to pick up the Hasty Pudding “Woman of the Year” award.

Spotted out earlier today at the Harvard ‘Hasty Pudding’ parade, Theron cheerfully announced, “I am Woman of the Year! If there was any question about me being a man, this should erase it,” as she boarded a rust-colored Bentley convertible. 

Keeping out of the spotlight as of late, the always gorgeous Charlize Theron popped out on Saturday night for dinner with boyfriend Stuart Townsend at Taverna Tony’s restaurant in Malibu.

As far as her career is concerned, recent reports tell that Theron is in talks to play the stunning late actress and inventor Hedy Lamarr in a new biopic.

Bringing an end to her Park City visit, Charlize Theron was spotted leaving Utah and arriving at LAX last night.  And neither she nor her beau Stuart Townsend seemed too interested in having their picture taken.

While she’s usually a delightful traveler, it seems that the “Monster” actress slipped up and gave a false report to UK publication The Daily Mail.

It’s been a big week so far in Park City, Utah.  The 2008 Sundance Film Festival has brought all kinds of celebrity presence to the normally-quiet mountain town.  And Charlize Theron has been spotted all over the place, from premieres to the MySpace Café.
